Supersized!

Would you believe, this is a brand-new kitchen, in a brand-new room? We installed this Reimagined Blake & Bull Aga range cooker in this extraordinary space a little while ago and have been waiting patiently (ish) to see the finished kitchen and well, I’m sure you can agree, it was very much worth the wait.

This space was a courtyard not so long ago (more pics below), and now is very much the heart of the home, with one of our cookers right at the centre of it all… and what a spot for it! The incredible porthole window has a remarkable story attached to it, salvaged from the seabed 50 years ago by the diving father of our customer Katie, now taking pride of place!

We may be biased, but we are firm believers here at Blake & Bull that, when you’re creating a kitchen from scratch, but want it to have that timeless quality, and for it to feel that it’s always been there, then one of our cookers is an excellent place to start! It brings a sense of age, permanence & solidity, whilst coming with all the efficiency and flexibility you could want after we’ve converted and renewed it, carefully installing it piece by piece in its new home.

Stunning flagstones from White Hall Flagstone – timeless marble from STARELstones and the kitchen from Burbidge complete the picture and we’re sure it’ll become a space in which countless meals are cooked and shared and the wonderful hum of life, revolving around a country kitchen, goes on for many, many years to come and we’re honoured to have been a part of such a special project!
